Description
The Accountant is responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. This role involves handling day-to-day accounting tasks, monitoring financial transactions, and supporting management in financial planning and analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Record daily financial transactions (accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, etc.).
Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.
Handle payroll processing and ensure timely disbursement of salaries.
Prepare and file tax returns, VAT/GST reports, and other statutory compliance reports.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Assist in internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
Monitor company expenditures and recommend cost-effective solutions.
Maintain confidentiality of financial information and company data.
Perform other finance-related duties as assigned by management.
