Merchandiser

New job vacancy as a Merchandiser in Dubai. As a Merchandiser, you’ll be responsible for making sure products are available and looking great in stores. You’ll work closely with suppliers, buyers, and store managers to plan and coordinate the purchasing, stocking, and selling of products. Your main goal is to boost sales by ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Work with suppliers to order products based on sales forecasts and inventory levels.
2. Coordinate with store managers to ensure products are displayed attractively and in line with merchandising guidelines.
3. Monitor inventory levels and reorder products as needed to prevent stockouts.
4. Analyze sales data to identify trends and make recommendations for product selection and pricing.
5. Collaborate with marketing teams to plan promotional activities and displays.
6. Conduct regular store visits to check product availability, placement, and pricing.
7. Build strong relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
8. Keep up-to-date with market trends and competitor activities.

Requirements:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Strong communication and negotiation skills.
3. Ability to analyze sales data and make data-driven decisions.
4. Organizational skills and attention to detail.
5. Knowledge of merchandising principles and retail operations.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Excel and Word.
8. Flexibility to travel to stores and attend meetings as needed.
