Kitchen Steward

New job opening in the hospitality sector in the position of KITCHEN STEWARD in renowned organization based in Dubai. Accommodation , Transportation and Food provided by the company.  

Responsibilities:

1. Dishwashing and Sanitization:

   • Operate industrial dishwashing equipment to ensure all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
   • Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of waste, including recycling.

2. Cleaning and Maintenance:

   • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the kitchen and storage areas.
   • Regularly clean kitchen surfaces, floors, and equipment to meet sanitation standards.
   • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.

3. Assist Kitchen Staff:

   • Support chefs and cooks by ensuring they have the necessary tools, utensils, and equipment in a timely manner.
   • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as directed by the kitchen team.

4. Organization and Inventory:

   • Keep track of kitchen inventory, including dishes, utensils, and cleaning supplies.
   • Notify management when supplies are low and assist in restocking.

5. Adherence to Health and Safety Standards:

   • Follow all health and safety regulations and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
   • Report any maintenance or safety issues to the appropriate personnel.

6. Collaboration:

   • Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure a smooth flow of operations.
   • Communicate effectively with team members to address any issues or concerns related to kitchen cleanliness.

7. Flexibility:

   • Be adaptable to work in a fast-paced environment and handle unexpected situations with composure.
   • Assist in other kitchen-related tasks as needed.
