Architect

The Draftsman is responsible for preparing detailed technical drawings, plans, and layouts based on specifications provided by engineers, architects, or designers. This role involves converting concepts and sketches into precise technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, ensuring accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and readiness for construction or manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and develop technical drawings, blueprints, and plans using AutoCAD or other CAD software.

• Interpret and convert design concepts, sketches, and notes into accurate working drawings.

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to understand project requirements.

• Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate design changes or corrections.

• Ensure drawings comply with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.

• Maintain proper filing and organization of drawings and project documentation.

• Assist in estimating quantities, dimensions, and materials required for projects.

• Conduct site visits or measurements when necessary to ensure drawing accuracy.

• Coordinate with construction or production teams to clarify design details.

• Perform any other drafting or technical tasks assigned by supervisors.
