Driver Assistant

As a Driver Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting our delivery operations by assisting the driver with various tasks and ensuring smooth transportation of goods to their destinations.

Responsibilities:

1. Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods onto the delivery vehicle.
2. Secure cargo properly to prevent shifting or damage during transportation.
3. Navigate routes and provide directions to the driver as needed.
4. Help with paperwork and documentation related to deliveries, such as proof of delivery forms.
5. Communicate effectively with the driver and other team members to coordinate delivery schedules.
6. Provide excellent customer service by being courteous and helpful during deliveries.
7. Assist with basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as refueling or cleaning the vehicle.
8. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Requirements:

1. No formal education required, although a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
2. Ability to lift and move heavy items repeatedly throughout the day.
3. Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
4. Willingness to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
5. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
6. Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required.
7. Valid driver's license is not required for this position.
