Description
Make sure everyone on the team works well together to give the best service to guests. Check that all staff look neat and fix any issues with their appearance. Ensure everything is set up correctly when we open and clean up when we close, like getting supplies ready and locking doors. Check that storage areas are organized and clean and that we're using things in the correct order. Keep track of what we have in stock and order more if needed. Keep an eye on the dining areas to see if there are enough seats, if guests are getting good service, and if everything is safe. If something needs fixing, let maintenance know.
Help managers with hiring, training, and managing staff. Be a good example for others and be the first person they can talk to if they have a problem. Follow all the rules about safety and how we do things. Keep yourself clean and professional-looking, and don't share secrets about the company. Greet guests nicely, help them if needed, and thank them when they leave. Talk politely to everyone. Get along with your coworkers and help each other out. Make sure we're doing our work well and suggest ways to improve things. Read and understand information, even if it's small or hard to see. Check tools and equipment to make sure they're working right. Be able to stand, sit, or walk for a long time. Lift things that weigh up to 50 pounds by yourself. Use your hands well to handle things of different sizes. Be able to move around even if it's tight or high up. Be able to go up and down stairs or ramps. Reach for things high up or low down and bend, twist, or stoop as needed. Do any other reasonable tasks your boss asks you to do.
