Accountant

As an Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting various accounting processes. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Keeping:

   • Record and maintain accurate financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
   • Ensure the completeness and accuracy of financial data in the general ledger.

2. Financial Reporting:

   • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
   • Generate financial reports for management review and decision-making.

3. Budgeting and Forecasting:

   • Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets.
   • Contribute to financial forecasting and variance analysis.

4. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

   • Oversee accounts payable functions, including invoice processing and payment disbursement.
   • Manage accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing.

5. Bank Reconciliation:

   • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies.
   • Monitor cash flow and report on any variances.

6. Compliance:

   • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, regulations, and company policies.
   • Assist with internal and external audits.
