Welder

New job vacancy open for the position of welder in a construction company based in Dubai. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for fabricating and assembling metal structures and components using various welding techniques. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of welding principles, be proficient in reading blueprints, and possess excellent precision and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

1. Welding Operations:

   • Perform various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to fabricate metal components and structures.
   • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine the specifications for the project.

2. Material Preparation:

   • Prepare materials for welding by cleaning, cutting, and shaping components using hand tools and machinery.
   • Ensure proper alignment and fit of parts before welding.

3. Equipment Maintenance:

   • Maintain and clean welding equipment regularly to ensure optimal performance.
   • Report any malfunctions or equipment issues to the supervisor.

4. Quality Control:

   • Inspect finished welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
   • Address and rectify any defects or imperfections in the welding work.

5. Safety Compliance:

   • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
   • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow proper safety procedures during all welding activities.

6. Collaboration:

   • Work closely with other members of the fabrication team to ensure efficient project completion.
   • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding project progress and any challenges encountered.

7. Problem Solving:

   • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to welding processes or equipment.
   • Propose and implement solutions for improving efficiency and quality.

8. Documentation:

   • Maintain accurate records of welding activities, including project details, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
