Description
Welder Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding specifications
Prepare and clean metal surfaces before welding
Operate welding equipment such as MIG, TIG, and arc welders
Perform high-quality welds on various metal components
Inspect and test welds to ensure accuracy and structural integrity
Maintain welding tools, equipment, and work areas
Follow all safety procedures and use appropriate protective gear
Identify welding defects and make necessary repairs
Collaborate with fabricators and other team members to complete projects
Document completed work and report any issues to supervisors
