Dusit Thani Dubai is seeking a motivated Butchery Commis to join their culinary team. This role involves active participation in all aspects of butcher shop operations, including preparation, service, and maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards. The ideal candidate will be responsible for skillfully cutting, trimming, boning, tying, and grinding various meats like beef, pork, poultry, and fish to prepare them for cooking. Key duties also include estimating meat requirements, ordering supplies to manage inventory, and meticulously recording meat quantities received and issued. Maintaining the organization and hygiene of store rooms, fridges, and deep freezers is crucial, as is ensuring proper waste management and adherence to strict grooming and uniform standards. This position requires a strong understanding of Hotel Health, Safety & Hygiene policies and procedures, including fire, first aid, and security protocols. The Butchery Commis will report directly to the Butchery Demi Chef de Partie and collaborate effectively with other departments.
