This role is pivotal in overseeing and executing mechanical engineering activities on-site, ensuring seamless project delivery from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for comprehensive project and cost management, meticulous engineering oversight, and strict adherence to the highest quality and safety standards. A key aspect of this position involves fostering strong collaborative relationships with main contractors, consultants, and clients, proactively identifying opportunities for value engineering, and managing resources effectively to maximize productivity and profit margins. - Lead mechanical engineering activities on-site and manage project execution.
- Perform project and cost management, including resource planning and stakeholder liaison.
- Ensure adherence to stringent quality and safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Validate mechanical designs, perform technical calculations, and review project documentation.
- Manage installation, construction, and coordinate with other trades and local authorities.
- Drive value engineering initiatives to enhance project margins and benefit stakeholders.
- Oversee shop drawing submissions, material procurement, and resolve technical challenges.
- Ensure compliance with company and subcontractor HSE policies and participate in safety initiatives.
- Utilize proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, or Primavera for project planning and execution.
