Al Futtaim Engineering is seeking a highly skilled and analytical Estimation Engineer - MEP to join their dynamic team in Dubai. This pivotal role involves meticulous cost estimation, tender review, bid compilation, and risk assessment for various project delivery phases. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring that all commercial submissions are accurate and compliant with tender requirements. Responsibilities include reviewing tender documents, participating in bid meetings, conducting quantity take-offs, developing detailed cost estimates, and assessing project risks. Additionally, this position requires preparing bid finalizations, managing handover to project teams, and contributing to departmental development. - Responsible for collecting and analyzing data to estimate project costs.
- Accountable for multiple components within the design and manufacturing process.
- Conducts Tender review, Cost Estimation, Bid Compilation & Risk Assessment.
- Ensures commercial submissions to tenders comply with all necessary details.
- Verifies detailed MTOs (quantity take-off) from tender documentation.
- Assists in identifying, evaluating, and ranking risks, and developing mitigation strategies.
- Organizes Budget Handover Meetings to Project Managers.
- Requires advanced Excel skills and strong IT systems knowledge.
- Possesses strong analytical skills and ability to research numerical information.
