AccorHotel is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join their team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role is crucial for maintaining the operational integrity and safety of the hotel's electrical systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all electrical work adheres to strict safety standards and fire procedures, responding promptly to health and safety-related requests, and addressing guest concerns with professionalism. Key duties include operating, maintaining, and repairing all electrical equipment, implementing preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance, and monitoring energy efficiency. This position requires meticulous record-keeping, including maintaining a daily logbook of activities and equipment catalogs, and actively contributing to departmental meetings with constructive feedback. The Electrician will also be involved in maintaining safety documentation, identifying potential hazards, and participating in emergency response efforts. We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of five years of verifiable commercial experience, preferably with an electrician certification and any required Material Handling Equipment certification. Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to interpret technical manuals and documents effectively.
