This full-time position in Dubai involves crucial support tasks essential for the successful completion of diverse construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up tools and materials, operating basic hand and power tools, and assisting various trades including carpenters, fitters, and masons. This role requires meticulous attention to detail in maintaining a clean and safe work environment, organizing equipment, and adhering strictly to safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. A minimum of 3 years of relevant marine or construction experience in the UAE, coupled with an overall 5 years of experience in similar fields, is essential. Proficiency with hand and power tools is mandatory, with swimming skills and knowledge of rigger/fitter helper tasks considered advantageous. • Assist in setting up tools, equipment, and materials at the worksite.
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery as required.
• Support the completion of tasks assigned by supervisors and foremen.
• Aid storekeepers in organizing and managing material stock.
• Provide assistance to carpenters, fitters, masons, and other team members.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment.
• Ensure the worksite is kept clean and tidy after each shift.
• Perform duties near the seashore and in confined spaces, adhering to safety regulations.
• Strictly follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate PPE at all times.
