Accountant

New internship opportunity for Accounting  to join our finance team. The Accounting Intern will work closely with our finance professionals to assist with various accounting tasks, financial analysis, and data entry. Responsibilities:

1. Data Entry and Record Keeping:

   • Assist in the accurate and timely entry of financial transactions into accounting software.
   • Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records and documentation.

2. Accounts Payable and Receivable:

   • Support the Accounts Payable and Receivable processes by verifying and processing invoices and payments.
   • Assist in monitoring and following up on outstanding receivables.

3. Financial Analysis:

   • Assist in preparing financial reports and summaries.
   • Contribute to the analysis of financial data to support decision-making processes.

4. Bank Reconciliation:

   • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy in financial records.
   • Investigate and resolve any discrepancies.

5. Assistance in Month-End Closing:

   • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
   • Work closely with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

6. Compliance and Auditing:

   • Assist in maintaining compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
   • Support internal and external audit processes as needed.

7. Ad Hoc Projects:

   • Contribute to special projects and tasks as assigned by the finance team.
   • Provide assistance in various financial analyses and initiatives.
