New job vacancy as a Director of Finance in Dubai.

Jumeirah Group, part of Dubai Holding, has been a major player in the hospitality industry worldwide for over 20 years, known for its unique Stay Differentâ„¢ brand promise.

They own iconic destinations like Burj Al Arab Jumeirah, famous for exceptional service, top-notch dining, and stunning architecture.

Currently, Jumeirah runs 26 properties across the Middle East, Europe, and Asia with a diverse team of over 9,000 colleagues from 120 different countries.

Jumeirah Zabeel Saray is a luxury resort on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, inspired by Turkish palaces, featuring lavish interiors and the acclaimed Talise Ottoman Spa.

Now, they're looking for a Director of Finance for Jumeirah Zabeel Saray and Hatta Resorts.

Responsibilities:

Financial Management:
- Oversee finance department to ensure accurate financial reports and smooth operations.
- Maintain precise financial records and compliance with international standards and local laws.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Communication and Relationships:
- Report financial performance to regional and corporate offices.
- Work closely with the General Manager and executive team.
- Collaborate with auditors and authorities.

Risk, Audit, and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
- Coordinate with internal audit and manage any legal issues.

Others:
- Handle ad hoc requests.

Requirements:
- Accounting certification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, or related field.
- At least 4 years of similar experience.
- Strong communication skills and resort operations management experience.
- Familiarity with ERP systems (like Oracle).
- Experience in stakeholder management.
