Description

New job vacancy as a Senior Solution Architect in UAE. The main job is to analyze business and technical needs, turn business requirements into technical solutions, teach technical information to relevant people, and support production systems, technology projects, and changes. Also, assist the Project Manager and manage vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.

Key Working Relationships:

1. Line Manager: Receive direction and support, discuss performance, and meet objectives.
2. Direct Reports: Give direction and support, manage performance and development.
3. IT Teams and Internal Stakeholders: Share information and take direction/provide feedback.
4. External Vendors: Provide feedback, negotiate, and influence.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:
- Support in delivering technology projects, ensuring they meet ADCB standards.
- Help analyze business requirements and manage project administration.
- Review vendor solutions and assist with project delivery.

2. System Management:
- Manage production applications and fix any issues that arise.
- Handle problem and change management, system integration, and security.

3. System Development:
- Guide team members in areas like application design and database management.
- Evaluate business needs, estimate effort and timelines, and assist in software testing and deployment.

4. People Management:
- Manage self and team according to ADCB’s policies to maximize performance.
- Supervise team activities to achieve targets and deliver the business plan.

5. Policies, Processes, Systems, and Procedures:
- Implement departmental policies and ensure adherence to standards.

6. Continuous Improvement:
- Motivate the team to identify and implement change initiatives in line with the Bank’s standards.

7. Customer Service:
- Deliver the Bank’s required level of service to customers.

Skills, Experience, Qualifications & Competencies:

Minimum Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in Information Systems with at least 2 years in a managerial role.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT/Computer Science.

Professional Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP)/Prince 2 Certification or equivalent.
- Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Certification or equivalent.

Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of Private Banking and Wealth Management.
- Planning and prioritization skills.
