Description
This role involves actively seeking and managing sales opportunities. You'll ensure that business transactions are handled properly and promptly for efficient service delivery. You'll also help oversee daily sales activities with a focus on nurturing long-term, valuable relationships with customers to meet sales targets.
Candidate Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- A 2-year degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field, along with 3 years of experience in sales and marketing, or a similar area.
OR
- A 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related field, with 1 year of experience in sales and marketing, or a similar area.
Main Responsibilities:
Building Successful Relationships for Sales Opportunities:
- Work together with sales channels off-property to ensure a coordinated and effective sales approach.
- Strengthen relationships with existing and potential customers through various activities like sales calls, events, and trade shows.
- Expand the customer base by fostering relationships within the community.
- Manage relationships with important stakeholders both within and outside the organization.
- Provide thorough and timely information to Event Management for smooth service delivery.
Managing Sales Activities:
- Take part in sales meetings to secure new business deals.
- Handle the operational side of booked business such as creating proposals and contracts.
Using Market Knowledge to Boost Revenue:
- Identify new business opportunities to meet personal and location revenue targets.
- Understand the market landscape including competitors, economic trends, and customer preferences, to effectively sell our services.
- Close deals that are the best fit for the location based on market conditions and specific needs.
- Understand the primary target customers and their expectations to offer tailored business solutions.
Providing Exceptional Customer Service:
- Support the company's service strategy by delivering excellent service to customers.
- Grow customer relationships to increase our share of their business.
- Maintain high customer service standards.
- Provide consistent excellent service aligned with the company's standards.
- Lead by example in guest relations, gathering feedback to improve our products and services.
