Waiter/ Waitress

You'll be serving food and drinks to guests in a friendly and efficient way at our resort's various dining spots, like restaurants, bars, and room service. Your goal is to make sure guests are happy with their experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Know the menu well and suggest food and drink options to guests.
• Greet and welcome guests warmly.
• Check tables or trays before guests arrive.
• Help guests with seating and offer menu suggestions.
• Take orders accurately and enter them into the system.
• Serve food and drinks promptly and politely.
• Keep tables clean and tidy.
• Ask about any special dietary needs or allergies.
• Handle money and payments correctly.
• Address guest questions or issues promptly and courteously.
• Build good relationships with guests.
• Follow all rules and procedures.
• Be ready to work in different parts of the food and beverage department.
• Keep everything clean and follow safety rules.
• Help with inventory and stocking.
• Be punctual and wear the correct uniform.
• Stay neat and clean.
• Stay positive and work well with others.
• Communicate effectively.
• Work hard and be willing to learn.
• Be friendly, patient, and flexible.

Experience & Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certificate or diploma in food and beverage service.
• HACCP certification.
• Some related experience is preferred.
• Know how to use POS systems and inventory software.
