About the Job:

You'll be helping the Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine in running the kitchen and filling in for them when they're not around.

Responsibilities:

• Assist and keep an eye on Chef De Partie and Demi Chef de Partie in their daily tasks.
• Help in creating menus and recipes that keep costs in check.
• Make sure the kitchen maintains high standards of cleanliness and follows all health and safety rules.
• Work with the Executive Chef and Sous Chef to meet kitchen targets set by management.
• Train and motivate junior chefs.
• Make sure tasks are done correctly by junior chefs.
• Keep an eye on changes in banquet schedules or other important information.
• Ensure food safety procedures are followed.

Experience & Requirements:

• Diploma in Culinary Arts or similar.
• Certified in HACCP.
• At least two years of equivalent experience in a five-star hotel.
• Good English skills, both spoken and written.
• Able to work accurately and efficiently.
• Flexible and organized.
• Friendly and easy to work with.
• Can work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Willing to take responsibility for their work.
