We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as a Storekeeper.
Responsibilities:
Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing goods. Regularly conduct physical checks of inventory levels and update the database accordingly.
Order Processing: Process and fulfill internal and external orders in a timely manner. Coordinate with suppliers for order placement and ensure timely delivery of goods.
Quality Control: Inspect received goods for quality and quantity. Report any discrepancies or damages and coordinate with the respective departments for necessary actions.
Stock Rotation: Implement FIFO (First In, First Out) and proper stock rotation practices to minimize waste and ensure the freshness of perishable items.
Documentation: Keep detailed records of all transactions, including invoices, purchase orders, and delivery notes. Maintain organized and easily accessible documentation for audit purposes.
Safety and Security: Ensure the safety and security of the store area. Implement measures to prevent theft, damage, or loss of inventory.
Communication: Coordinate with various departments to understand their inventory needs. Keep stakeholders informed about stock levels and any issues that may impact operations.
Equipment Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of storage equipment and report any malfunctions or damages for prompt repairs.
